I love drawing monsters. I do them in pen and ink, using pen and ink or various "fine tip" markers. To create them, I use form and texture. cross-hatching, repetitive, wiggling lines, and sometimes color bring them to life. They can add the kind of weirdness some kids seem to like in their books, fun, or to create attention and uniqueness for adults.
